Designer RICK RHE unveils a groundbreaking fashion innovation as the first in South Korea to utilize PolyJet 3D printing technology in wearable design. In collaboration with global 3D printing leader Stratasys, this project marks a new chapter in digital craftsmanship merging precision engineering with creative expression.

RICK RHE's work challenges conventional approaches to garment construction, pushing the boundaries of fabric, form, and function.
By integrating digitally printed elements with traditional materials, each piece becomes a hybrid of structure and innovation.

3D printing on sustainable
leather

Additionally, the project, carried out in collaboration with the Italian leather company Dani, utilized Dani's new generation of sustainable leather, Olivae, made in Italy. The leather exploits the natural tanning properties of olives and is both chromium-free and glutaraldehyde-free.

PolyJet 3D Collaborative
Project

First  fashion project in South Korea utilizing PolyJet 3D printing, a collaboration between Rick Rhe and Stratasys.

The project, "Hangeul Blooms," draws inspiration from Hangeul typography and Munjado, using the formative features of Hangul fonts for 3D textile designs. It combines the Hangul character for "flower" with floral patterns to create visual delight.
