Hangeul Project
A Textile Language of Identity

A Language Transformed into Textile
Hangeul, the writing system of the Korean language, forms the cultural foundation of the Hangeul Project defining RICK RHE through a distinctive textile language shaped by creativity, innovation, and narrative.
Flowers emerge as a poetic extension of this visual code. In dialogue with the structural precision of Hangeul, they introduce softness and fluidity creating a refined balance between nature and design, emotion and form.
Reimagined across RICK RHE’s collections, floral motifs articulate an evolving expression of femininity delicate yet deliberate, contemporary yet timeless.

Why the Hangeul Project?
The Hangeul Project was conceived to establish a distinct and recognizable identity for RICK RHE, grounded in cultural storytelling and textile innovation.
More than a writing system, Hangeul embodies history, structure, and visual harmony. Its geometric precision and philosophical depth position it as a compelling design language.
By translating Hangeul and floral motifs into refined embellishments and textile expressions, the project reimagines language as a tactile, sensory medium.
Through embroidery, print, 3D printing, and bespoke textile development, RICK RHE transforms Hangeul into a signature visual code communicating narrative, identity, and meaning beyond aesthetics.
