HANGEUL BLOSSOM: Digital Craft Fashion
Hangeul Blossom: Digital Craft Fashion research project explores the visual beauty of Hangeul, the aesthetics of traditional Korean culture, and the possibilities of contemporary digital fabrication. By integrating advanced technologies with diverse materials, each garment transforms Hangeul beyond readable text into three-dimensional surfaces, tactile embellishments, and wearable sculptural forms.
Inspired by Hangeul typography and traditional Korean Munjado art, the collection transforms written characters into sculptural fashion, celebrating the visual beauty, symbolism, and cultural values of Korean heritage through contemporary digital fabrication.
